just for clarification, I wired up the first six and we ran out of time. Rather than wait until another day he could get with me, Nick finished it up himself since the plan was all set up. I have to give him props... It's not the prettiest thing but I didn't get a calll at 11pm saying there was a flash of light and then nothing... So in that case. Success!

This is seriously bright and I am glad I convinced him to go with two rows of nine instead of three rows of six.

It looks good Nick I was just pulling your leg.
Can't wait to see some long term results in that tank now.
Did you get 2 drivers then? Or did you find a driver that would run 18 LED's?

I'll go back and quote my self =)
"leds in place  basically they are broken down like this
(Red Wire = 6 Blue) (Black Wire = 6 White) (White Wire = 3 Blue/3White)
each colored set has their own potentiometer (Dimming ability) so you can pretty much come out with any color you like"

Finally! Looks good Nick. How bout some before and after pics? Or does the camera not really capture the light well? I have heard it is hard to photograph led lights because they are so bright.
Some day, when I grow up,...
