In my experience they're picky eaters at the best of time. You will need to feed it phytoplankton. More often than not they will have to be target fed. They're closely related to sea cucumbers, and if they die they will release harmful chemicals into your tank which can damage your reef. If you're willing to take the time to pamper a sea apple, it can be very rewarding.
