Ok so last night I saw what looked like the arm of a serpent star or brittle star fish coming out of a hole in a rock. As I got closer I noticed the "head" was flat and kind of bushy. Also it was more like a tube that grew longer instead of already being long like a worm. I tried to snap a pic but the flash made it retract back in the hole. As I watched it come back out again it was like watching somebody inflating one of those long skinny balloons. It was white and had black markings on it. Anybody have any idea what this is?

oooo no idea, try to get a pic again... that would definitely help... does it come out when you feed?

This is the first time ive ever seen it. Seems to be nocturnal. I'll look up a peanut worm and see if thats what it looked like.
