Definitely? I'd think about giving it a try. Heck if he doesn't I'd consider buying it for my mangrove display. That would be awesome looking!
I wonder what "preserved" means? Like dipped in resin like they do fish? Like stuffed? Dried out? Hmmmm, totally weird creepy and unique.... like Shane.

I wouldn't risk my tank for a croc head... All the preservatives, and chemicals used aren't good for humans let alone fish and corals.

If it's just bone with no chemicals or anything added it should be fine, just more calcium for the tank.

Dead decorations are for fresh water tanks IMO. Put live stuff in there and keep the habitat as natural as possible. This hobby is far from natural, but do what you can.

Adam is talking crazy talk. Don't listen to him. Seriously, anything that was once living is going to decompose in the saltwater environment. This would be a huge disaster for a small tank and a major polluter in a large tank. The whole idea of saltwater aquariums is that everything is either eating or being eaten. Though bacteria are some of the smallest residents of our tanks, they are a huge population and together they are the biggest eating machine in the tank.
