I wanted to share this bulbs that arrive in the mail today I wanted to share my opinion about this bulbs. It took seven days to arrive pretty fast, specially it was a busy week.

It was well packaged, and was wrapped by alof of bubble wrap

Not much of a presentation for this bulbs

I am replacing my Coralife Bulbs I dont know how old they where to this bulbs

Compared to the old bulb it looks what i wanted Blue tint color, The actinics are no help they dont make it any bluer

10K Coralife Bulbs

15k Plusrite Bulbs

Conclusion
This are really nice bulbs for a person with a tight budget, They were $47 for two bulbs including shipping. I really like this bulbs Nuclear Palys never look greener with the 10k they lost their color.

Next time try their 20K bulbs...

I am running 400wSE 20Ks over my 225g right now and so far I am very impressed with both overall tank color and coral coloration response.

It has been almost a month with them so far it has not shifted coloration. This is the PAR ratings, I got from Adam a few weeks ago.

So I decided it was time to buy new bulbs cause I really don't know how old mine are. I bought them with the ballasts used... So I read all over here and RC and decided to purchase the Plusrite 175 w 20000k bulbs. However I could not find the ebay store that was selling themCry When I did a search nothing came up under plusrite. After extensive reading through RC I found the name of the ebay store that sells them it "trust_deals" and if someone doesnt want to buy from ebay his website is

www.lightspectrumstore.com

I dont know why on ebay it doesnt say plusrite under the brand name but all over the RC thread it says this is the ones. So I figured I would pass this info along so the next person looking at buying these bulbs doesnt have to spend hours like me looking for them. Here is a link to the RC thread everyone speaks very highly about the bulbs and they even have tank shots and PAR readingsClap

www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1703568&page=4

The bulbs I was running before were the Artemis 20000k I liked them But They dont sell them anymore. Or at least I cant find them. So I am hoping I like these as much!

I am interested to see how well they do keeping there PAR and how often they need to be changed. If they keep good color and PAR for even half the time as the $60 ones. It is well spent money not money well spent.Wink

Thats a valid question for sure but say they only last 6 months with good par. When your only spending $47 shipped for 2 bulbs what do you have to lose? Every "name brand" bulb I have found is at least $60-$70 a piece. With that said a lot of people on RC have said they keep thier PAR for just as long as name brand ones. I cant confirm that but I guess I will find outWink

I have always been the type to find out if the cheaper might not last as long but is still cheaper when you use them and you get the same results.
