I never heard of 12k bulbs, 20k bulbs are also of unheard of for PC, you can get those color by switching to MH or T5

Let me see if I understand.
You need a single PC tube for a small tank?
You want it to make the colors as good as possible and yet provide for coral growth?
Is that right?
How did you arrive at the 12,000 Kelvin designation?

The Kelvin rating system is difficult to gauge sometimes.
20,000 Kelvin/20k/20,000k are often one and the same and that designates a very blue color. The same color whether it's PC or MH or T5. So you might recognize that blue/Actinic or any spectrum level in the 400 nm range is going to be the same thing.
