I used garlic oil for the first time today and i soaked the food with it, now the top of my water has a film on it. SHould I get a small protien scimmer or what?

Can you aim a powerhead at the water surface to kind of break it up?

i agree with bobc surface film is created when there isnt alot of surface agitation. not only it will remove the film but gas exchange will incrase too
