Any idea what the name of these yellow polyps are?  I sure love them.  I wish that they would grow a little faster-- but I sure want to know what they are first.

look like the common yellow polyps to me. careful.. once they start growing they spread like a wildfire

If I have them on a rock that is not touching anything else(but the sand)--- would that be isolated enough????

And--- are they dangerous?

Yes that is isolated enough and they are not dangerous to fish or inverts.
