Can anybody tell me a little more about these guys? I was told they were nocturnal but seem to be opening more in the light.

With moderate light and food in the water column, they will stay open all day. All of mine close during the MH time of day and reopen shortly there after. They do close occasionally during non MH time.

Mine are open quite a bit. I have them under a little shelf so they don't receive intense light and they seem to like it.
29 Gallon Bow Front
55 Gallon with 25 gallon sump

Pond
2 dogs + 2 cats + fish + 1 year old daughter = zoo. Welcome to my house.

There's a couple of threads on this. . just do a search on Sun Corals in the search option and you'll pull up tons of info on this board.
