In my "Reef" book I got for x-mas it talks about man made "coral gardens" I guess you'd call them. Remote reefs...ie, sunken ships etc.. Well they mentioned something about running current through the wires to promote growth among the corals.  I don't have the book in front of me right now but...it'something along those lines.

Anyone have more info on this?

i have also heard about this and its off of one of the tsunami countrys where it has destoyed the reef. the reef started to grow on a sunken ship, if i remember corectly they decided to experiment with sending small currents through the metal of the boat and it worked for some reason. thats all the info i have

I was just wondering if we could apply this to our home tanks?
