Just thought I'd post a few photos of a 90 gallon I take care of.  The tank seems to be doing really well.  Its six month anniversery (after a complete overhual) is in a week.  It has a Calfo manifold with 5 inlets from an Iwaki 55 return pump, 4" GSL sandbed, about 65 pounds Fiji rock, 2 X 250 XM 10K metal halide with 2 X 96 watt actinic PC.  The tank has an end overflow with two 1" drains with attached dursos and is is viewable from both sides.  The blue tang deliberately rips chunks out of the xenia but doesn't bother any other coral.... that's fine with me because there's less "weed trimming" for me.

East Side

West Side

Green slimer (from a Shane H frag), tang, echinopora

3 monti digitatas- bright orange, reddish orange (polyps withdrawn after being bumped by the tang), brown with purple tips.

In my 200 gal I have one side utah oolitic and one side rounded coral.  Then in my 70 gal I have crushed coral.  I did this to get an idea on looks (which you can come see if you like).
The problem is that I really like the rounded coral, my wife really likes the oolitic.  So in the end I didn't get anywhere by trying this out.

Come to a meeting, they’re fun!

Adam, your mistake was telling your wife how much the Utah Oolitc cost.
