So I found some ice melt today that said magnesium chloride ice melt MgCl2-6H20... it says its the top of the line is melts... so is this pure mag chloride?

I found it at costco, it was a 50lbs bag for like 13.00

I have some of that too. I haven't gotten an analisys but the web site claims 100%. when I used it in the 5 to 3 part mixture (MgCl to epsom salt) there was a black parcipitate at the bottom of the container. also when I dosed with it I found a very little goes a very long way.
