I have a Bio Cube 32 Gallon LED. I'm looking to take off the hood and put on a Kessil LED light. Im trying to pick between the Kessil A80 and the Kessil A160. As for corals i'm mostly planing on Softies and LPS. maybe an SPS but I don't plan on it. Is the A160 over kill? Or is it worth the cost to upgrade? Thanks!

I have an A80. It's crap. I have it on an 8 gallon tank, and I can't wait to replace it.

I am just getting back into the hobby and have been saving for a 360x for my biocube 14. But I also plan on upgrading to a larger tank around hobby supplumentation time aka tax season. I figure buy once cry once. If you plan on upgrading to a bigger tank I would buy the light you want for the bigger tank and just turn down the intensity till then. I think an a160 would do great on that size tank.

A160 is not overkill for that size of tank. Kessils are nice because they don't have to connect to an app to work. I have loved mine.

I had 4 of these on my 6' 180 gal. I was growing some SPS near the top at 100% intensity. If you just have soft coral and they are at the top I would start at 60% and ramp up to 80% over a few weeks. As far as schedules go I had mine ramp up/down for 3 hours on each end and then 5 to 6 hours of my daytime intensity. I hope that helps.
