Has anyone used a tank like this to raise seahorse fry?

Also what is a good thing for the fish to attach to? What is it in this picture?

Thanks

I have used a lot of different types, but not exactly like that one. Adam
made me a really cool one that had plastic rounding out the bottom, with
a drain underneath to go to a sump. Worked great! He did an article on
Advanced Aquarist about a "Delicate Breeder......"

That looks like it would work, though. It would keep the fry from floating
at the top of the water, when their snacks are at the bottom!

The second pic looks like older fry, IF that tank is 10 gallons, they must
be 6-8 weeks? That is when pelagic fry begin to hitch. I'm not sure what
the wire appartatus is...

I put live macro in for my babies to hitch to. A seperate nursery can get
hydroids, though, so that is why most breeders use plastic, sterile
everything, and rely on daily water changes to filter the water.

I was thinking the same thing.  Pods and phyto = the food supply. Now I just need to get another tank cycled and a good tank raised pair species. I definately will make my own cube to fit the corner of my desk. When I'm ready for advise on the horses I'm sure Suzy will have the answers. Suzy the seahorse guru.
