Looking for thoughts on the best protein skimmer for a 28G nano cube. Would be nice to know if you own or know someone with recommendations. Most of the information I'm finding on the internet forms are dated back to 2011 or so. Looking for cost / benefit skimmers. Also, I don't have a sump and don't plan on it so that needs to be taken into consideration. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks - Brett

I ran an Aquamaxx HOB-1 on my 28 nano and it worked great. It's still running on that tank even after I sold it. I would highly recommend it. They even updated it a couple of years back and I hear the new one is even better.

I too am looking for opinions/experience with in tank skimmers for the BioCube 29 (I have the HQI model). I really want to keep everything in the tank. I suppose that I'd prefer to find something that fits the first chamber but ultimately I'm more interested in what fits, and of what fits, what works well.
thanks for any insight. Brent

Tunze 9001 will fit in your middle chamber if you remove the plate. Google intank tunze 9001. I wish it worked for mine.
