Has anyone tried it? It looks to be as reliable as more expensive solutions at a substantially cheaper cost. I would love an Tunze Osomolator, but it is quite cost prohibitive for me. The Smart Level would be less than half the cost, even after buying a pump to go with it.

With the reviews on it, and the cost. Why not just go with the Tunze Osmolator Nano? it has awesome reviews, is about $10 more and has a bunch of safety features if the float switch ever does fail.

I'm putting it on a 105 gallon system. I'm worried I would overwork the Osmolator Nano.

KISS Wherever there is room to use a float switch, that is what I use. Why? Because float switches do not depend on electricity and rather than fail they only begin to wear out. What does that mean? The valve takes an increasing amount of pressure to hold back the stream of top-off water. This is easily visible over weeks and months as the static "running level" of the water rises slightly above it's mark. IME, for safety, simple devices are better than complicated devices. KISS
That's my 2 cents. Aloha

I would recommend reading some of the reviews on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B00EVD944A/ref=mw_dp_cr
