So Brad at The Aquarium was nice enough to bring in the http://Seneye.com" rel="nofollow - Seneye products for me. (I hate buying online if a LFS can get it for me) and I've been running a couple for a month now. As I currently have all my fish in an Ich free tank via a hypo-salinity treatment, I was very worried about tracking my pH, Temp, and Ammonia. Temp was easy enough but since I have no biological filter, almost no sand and very little live rock. I was afeared of NH3 killing the few fish I have left.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in review type details. If so I'll put something together, if not then I'll just say it has been a very nice product to have.

I just got one as well... How does your par compare with it to an apogee? Mine seems off. I used to have 700 in the sandbed, and I'm down to around 300 now. Granted, the bulbs are different, but that shouldn't cause that much of a drop in par.

How is your nh4? I was shocked to see mine at 11. I don't know what a good number is though. I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot with our pH levels.

Oh nice. My NH4 is 13.3 on my Hypo-salinity FOWLRPVC and 14.1 on my reef. NH3 on is 0.001 and 0.003 respectively. If anything the Apogee seems to read a little lower PAR than the seneye but I've only spot check between the two. I'll test light more at home tonight.
