Well I decided that it would be good for me to make a tank thread, so here we go. I started this hobby because I wanted to have a finding nemo tank. But now is more than that I will start from the beginning. So I started with a 29gal with rock and sand from an establish tank. Here is a pic after I added all rock, sand and water  After it clear up  This was about 5 months after  Then I upgraded it to a 55gal.  Then I had problem with algea and cyano   This is when it had clean up a bit  This was taken a few months ago  And at last I upgraded to a 90gallon  current livestock list 1 hippo tang 1 yellow tang 1 orange ocellaris clown 1 black and white clownfish 1. 4 striped damsel 1 yellow tail damsel 1 diamond goby 1 tomini tang 1 flame angel 1 bangaii cardinal 1 cleaner wrasse 1 royal gramma Corals Pulsing Xenia Various mushrooms Various zoas Green star polyps Hammer coral Toadstool leather Cabbage coral Rose bubble tip anemone Encrusting gorgonian Various palys Filtration 90 or so lbs of live rock About 120lbs or sand 2 hang on back filters Jebo hang on back skimmer Cheato algea No sump/refugim Equipment 2 aqua clear powerheads Odyssea t5ho 48" quad light fixture 1 Maryland powerhead 1 mag float scraper 2 heaters I feed 3-4 a day Mysis Nori from Walmart New life sprectum pellets Ocean nutrion flakes ------------- 210 Mixed Reef 20 Nuvo nano reef Learn your tank, not the hobby |
