This morning just after 6 I woke up to a beeping sound.  It took me a bit to figure out what it could be and I ran downstairs to the tank.

My return line had popped off the pump.  Luckily most of the water geysers right back into the sump, but enough got into the stand to trigger the leak frog.

I have a rio pump and 3/4" clear tubing as my return line.  It is tight the first time I install it, but after removing it to clean the pump a few times it's getting looser...

Do any of you use anything to keep you return line secure? And if so, what?

Home Depot sells plastic hose clamps - that's what you need

Awesome save! Those nylon hose clamps are pretty good. You can also put a zip/cable tie on with the clamp as a backup. If it's a connection not in the system water you could use a stainless steel hose clamp that tightens down even better.
