ok, picked up a little 24x24 x 12 inch frag tank and a 2x4 stand.

going to use it as a frag tank / quarantine tank. Going to use it to put ALL of my corals while I am moving live rock and live sand into the new 300, hopefully this week.

I have never set up a frag tank, so wondering what advice everyone had.

I put a small 1.5 inch bed of sand, built a pvc rack with egg crate over it for sitting the corals on. have a sump of a big round tub from WalMart. no rock nothing else done yet. Putting some water from my 90 gallon so it has some bacteria in it.

Questions I have, should i put rock in the sump? what should I do to get it cycled and ready to hold corals for a few days while everything is getting moved and ready for htem?

Any suggestions of how to set it up would be welcome.
