Lookin killer.. What other equipment u going to use?

Marine dosing pumps, tunze controller, try to use a tunze lighting controller for a 0-10v signal to controll the reef flow on a VFD, Not sure yet but with 3600 gph rating on pumps hoping to have no power heads. Lots of flow for SPS just dont want to rip them apart so it depends if I can use a VFD without spending $500. I also have a 30 gal EA sump and leaning towards a reef octopus since Deltecs are so expensive. No fuge this time !!!!!!

With a reeflo dart on a closed loop you would want 4 holes for the returns with something to alternate the flow like a ocean motion 4-way. But even at that the dart would probably be way to powerful. just my 2 cents

Are you using check valves on your returns? Looks like it could drain half the water if the power went out?

If look on the first page there is a pic of skimmer etc. That is all there is , other than a reef flow dart behind the sump that runs my closed loop.

If you  look close at the toip center of the tank there is a center external overflow , it contains my return line and 2 1" drains set up in a herbie. The pipes you see in the pic are for my closed loop . When you shut off all pumps I only lose about 1" of water from my display to the sump . No chance of over flow or syphon to the sump . Wink
