So how do I tell how many gallons the skimmer can handle? We have one that we bought used from LFS in Idaho the last time we were there, but he knows our tank so we don't ask too many questions with him when he recommends something.... AND it works great. However, we are now upgrading and want to make sure the skimmer will do its job or buy a new one if needed.

Pretty sure its EuroReef from the Logo.... but clearly that covers a lot of skimmers. Does anyone know how to find out model or something?

In case anyone thinks to ask. It currently is running in a 75 gallon display with 110 gallon sump. We are adding a 180 gallon display and 2x30 gallon tanks as well, all on the same system keeping the original tank.

The model number is usually under the outlet pipe on the skimmer body

My guess is with you adding an additional 240 gallons you will need another skimmer. Pictures would help us get an idea also measurements.

I would strongly suggest you upgrade your skimmer
