so I've been thinking about pumps lately.. and the return pump in the back of my biocube pushes very little water out. Does that mean it needs cleaning or the 6yr old pump needs to be replaced? If it does, can I replace it with any ol pump that will fit with the tube or do I need a special one, cause it looks like a regular pump. If I do that means i can have one less thing in my display! And more room for the fish! ------------- recent absurdity..Unicorns have rabies |

They should last anywhere from 3-10+ years depending on type and use.

I'm going to clean the old pump and see what I get, but I'm inclined to swap it out anyways. Is there anything I should especially pay attention to when I take the pump apart? ------------- recent absurdity..Unicorns have rabies |
