Yesterday in one of the presentations (Vargas?) a power head that had the motor on the outside was shown.  Does anyone know who makes them and/or where to find them?

Thanks!

Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.

Thanks so much! Do you know if it can be angled up, or does it just sit straight?

I am looking to put power heads on the bottom of the tank and angle up and thought it would be nice not having to dangle cords 36" down into the tank.  Any other thoughts or ideas welcome.

It would be able to do that!  Adam has 4 of the pumps on his tank.

You can NOT angle the Vortech pumps. They are meant to be run higher up in the tank. The undertow is crazy on them! If they are too low you will have a major sandstorm on your hands.

If you want put the pumps at the bottom and point up, go with Tunze.

Nope, but they are worth it. What size tank do you have?

Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums.

Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following.
50 Gallon rimless cube.
180 Gallons mixed reef paradise
