I have a small clown fish (maybe like 1.5 inches) and he has been in the tank maybe two weeks now. I have never seen him eat much more than 1 pellet of food in the past two weeks. I was hoping he was maybe eating or pecking at things when I wasn't looking, but I got a second clown that is about the same size, and there is a huge difference in color already as well as activity.

I have been feeding them the following:

Freeze Dried Blood Worms
Sinking Pellets
Prawns
Frozen Mysis Shrimp

I have only seen him eat one maybe two sinking pellets in about 2 weeks. From day one I noticed that food never really interested him. The second clown loves to eat and has the same habits as any other fish I have seen eat.

I have tried turning off the wave blowers, feeding in the dark, varied times, putting the food right in front of him, etc.

Is it possible that my clown is just destined to starve to death? Because it seems like that day is coming soon.

Try soaking some food in garlic

Live Brine Shrimp would be the most likely thing to entice your clownfish to eat.

If it refuses that, then something is wrong with the fish. (sick / shock / etc)

I agree try feeding some live brine shrimp or frozen meats, that should entice him.

Well he is at least chasing the little brine now. We will see how he does over the next few days!
