which one of these are good to use is it just personal preference or are there big differences?

| Dont know much about any of those brands. I think most people on here get their carbon from rockstarfish . It's top of line stuff and super cheap for the amount you get. |

I think almost any carbon you use will be just fine.
I also agree that you will save a ton of money by buying from Rockstarfish.  Just my two cents. Linn |

I'm not sure about the difference between these brands but there is a difference in types of carbon in their surface area, pore size and the amount of dust present. These factors can affect how affective the carbon is in the system. BRS describes the differences in the 3 types of carbon they sell at http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/carbon-and-gfo/bulk-carbon - http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/products/carbon-and-gfo/bulk-carbon . There is also a video on this page as well.
