I keep blue stripe pipefish in my reef, they have been in there for atleast a few months =) doing really well

They do need live pods, so a well established tank is a must, at least a year old is what I would recommend, with a mature fuge. My brother kept a banded pipefish for 5 years. He had an amazing Refugium which he believes was the basis for the longevity.

Ive tried them in a tank for work before and they did good for about 6 months. They were even eating frozen foods. But sadly the tank was not taken care of and it wasnt at my office :( ------------- Next meeting: |

I had a Jann's pipe for two year that I got from Tresa who had him for 3 years. Great fish.... ------------- I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them. 180 gallon money pit that I love..... |
