I am wondering where my sunny d's should be placed? When I got them they only had a bit of orange but they seem to get less and less color. Do they need higher light or lower? I have had them in the lower part of my red sea max and now in the lower part of my 75g. The only time I see any orange color is when a new polyp is coming in:(

My magicians are doing the same thing. Im going to try and place them in lower light and see what happens. I switched to leds so maybe they are too much for them.

Jackie, mine like med-low light and med flow, good luck, what i did before when my aog lost color (granted i switched from a crappy t5 fixture to a hqi light) was I shaded it underneath a frogspawn and slowly moved it out of the shadow every day I fed. Good luck!

Jackie,
I have found with almost all of my Zoas that they tend to like the sand. My dragon eyes lost there color and I moved them down and now all my zoas are doing much better.
I would love to see a pic of your new zoas :).

I have had them on the sand and they just haven't colored up but I put them in a shaded area so we will see soon:)
I will get some pics of my zoa/paly collection tomorrow when my lights come on.
