What are peoples recommendations about height of my light fixture above the water line?
The fixture is an ATI Powermodule 6x24W T5 fixture. It's an SPS dominate tank, 20" deep, with a few LPS. I actually hung the light so it was slightly towards the back of the tank, allowing LPS to be placed up front in a little lower light. | 6 to 12 in should do ok if they are MH provide proper ventilation so your water dont heat up during the winter. keep in mind light acclimation |

| Start the fixture at least 8 inches above the tank, if not 10. Slowly lower it down to the 6 inch range and you should be good to go. |

I have to keep my ATI 7 inches above the water line so I don't bleach my LPS on the sand. |

I've only got 5 LPS right now. A scolymia and 4 chalice frags. The chalice are in full light while the scolymia is slightly shaded.
