Im wanting to add some led actinic supplemental lights to my rsm 130.  any one have any experience with the reefbrite strips?  Could i mount them just onto the bottom of the hood?  Or would that be too close to the water?  Is there a lfs that carries these?
any help or suggestions is appreciated.
Thanks
PJ

The Ecoxotic stunner strips do put out quite a bit more light, (From what I have heard) and you will need something strong to combat the 6x39w T5's

The stunner strips are more for looks. The panoramic is the one that puts out the par. And the 130 has 2 T5 power compacts, 6x39 is on the 250

Oh and on mounting it, yes it would be too close to the water.... you can always hollow out the front part of the lid and mount it there

Are you sure? I swore that I saw 6 individual sets of t5 sockets in the hood of the RSM yesterday

Reefbrites are waayyyyyy more powerful than stunners or the panorama.....one reefbrite strip puts out roughly the same PAR as two ATI Blue Pluses with individual reflectors....go for it!  I would, but those reefbrites aren't cheap for a 48 inch tank...as for the panorama...outdated, not as powerful, and can have a spotlight effect...
