One of my large RBTA's is smoking as though it has a cigar in its mouth.  I think that it is spawning, but I've never seen it before.
are there any problems for my tank or something I should do?

Probably spawning.  Watch your tank close, run some carbon if you have some, increase skimming if possible.   If you notice any problems do a large water change.  You should be fine.

Mine did this and basically everyone just eat very well..... I would not worry as long as you have a lot of hungry coral to eat it... If not, do a water change ASAP.....

I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them.

180 gallon money pit that I love.....

Linda's tank is similar to Danh Ngo's tank. A major portion of it is colonized by dozens of RBTA's.

Both tanks are very well established. They can handle any large pollution problem that comes along. If it were were me, I wouldn't give it a second thought. In fact, I'll bet it's back to normal today, with no evidence of yesterdays spawning. Removing the large rock, breaking it up and removing/chiseling off those RBTA's caused a change that initiated the spawning. It's all good.Smile

Thanks everyone.  The same rbta spawned two nights in a row but nothing looked upset by it.  They all are great now.
