NO! That will work to seal it but is not NON-TOXIC.

Any fish store, will sell All glass brand Aquarium safe silicone. Bird world has it, petco, just about everyone.

Not True. I used GE Silicone I to reseal my 180 gallon. Just be sure it is the 100% silicone and not the "Rain Ready" or Anti-Mildew stuff.

Yeah, most people use the GE #1 100% silicone, its the same stuff that they sell at the LFS, just re-branded and half the price

my GE #1 100% silicon says "NOT FOR surfaces that will exceed 400*F, conditions where FDA compliance is necessary, or aquariums."Dead is this ok?

It will work fine. Silicone#2 should not be used. They put the aquarium disclaimer on there so they are not responsible if you use it and it fails. Make sure all of your pieces are clean and dry. (it works for glass NOT ACRYLIC.) You can use it to glue in acrylic baffels in a glass tank, but not to put together a acrylic sump.

Just put a bead on both sides of the baffels and it will work fine.
