can i run carbon in my qt with copper safe?

I believe carbon absorbs some of the copper, but it doesn't do a very good job.

ok i just wanted to filter out some crap in the tank but still wanted to med my fish

No...you cannot have any carbon in your filter with any medication to be effective, it will suck it out
