Need I say more....... Suzy found this guy for me and I got a screaming deal 35.00.... I put in a spray bar and moved the 4 remaining powerheads into the rock so you cant see them. I have been watching him for this very reason and the one day I went to work this week, he traveled 1/2 way around the tank and into a hidden powerhead..... ------------- I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them. 180 gallon money pit that I love..... |

My carpet anemone... the infamous anemone.... stays still for about 4 months. Then every four months or so he wanders off and into some powerhead. I have to tare him apart to get him out. Then he just heals up, eats some fish, and sits quietly for another four months. Adam ------------- Come to a meeting, they�re fun! |

I have a green BTA (that just split) that has been in the same spot on the same rock for at least 1 1/2 yrs in three different tanks!! I also have an RBTA that I've had for about three months that doesn't stay put for more then three days at a time. He's been everywhere in my tank. That sucks Connie! I think that I am fortunate that I do not run powerheads cause my rbta would have been toast when it went on it's "road trip". I am actually surprised that it didn't end up in an overflow! You know what would be neat though... If all of those peices of your BTA had enough of the right tissue to make new little anemones! did you have any sort of safety net around the opening? ------------- I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it. Magna |

Hey connie sucks I had my nice RBTA split a few months ago the split was doing fine, then one day it was gone? Haven't seen it since. I tore apart the rocks and my plumbing, who knows??? I wonder how expensive it would be to put in a closed loop? |

Well that just it.... I did put in a spray bar to get rid of a few ph ( 4 ) but I am a current freek so I still have 4 ph running on a wavetimer..I have alot of sps. . I have a tube and two rock anenomiees... I guess I will stick to those... just go and get some of those stupid mech filter cages that you can put on the PH's then run them without the filter.
