I am a little worried about my feather duster.  It is a red and white crown I believe.  One day all of a sudden it kicked off all the feathers, now it looks bald.

Another wierd thing is that there is something wierd inside of the tube.  I don't know what it is and it appears attached to the feather, it may be the head or something, but it kind of looks like white wings.  I can not get a pic of it.  Everytime I get close to it it goes deep into the tube.  It does not come out of the tube at all.

What do you thing happened.  It was not stressed, not sure if the FW exit affected it.  My other feather looks real good and so does everything else.

When a Feather Duster Worm is stressed or starving it sheds the feather part of its body. The worm is still alive but may be starving in your tank.

What can I do about it?  I do feed phyto plex and other stuff that says it is for feathers and scallops.

Also my water is looking a little yellowish.  Not sure if it is do to the lights.

Feed live phyto or PhytoFeast? I'm not familiar with PhytoPlex. Is it alive?
