O.k. My gsp is out of control. It is creeping onto everything. Is scraping it off rocks the only option? Is there something I can put on it to spot kill it? ------------- 140 Gallon reef 90G. Sump |

What ?!? Why would anyone want to get rid of their GSP, it's the greatest coral ever!!! (I'm actually kind of serious when I say that... I really like the look of GSP  )

So how do you keep it from spreading over all of the rock it is on? I have it on a pretty big rock and it is as big as I want it to get. |

as soon as Mcsalty runs out you can contact me for rocks of GSP ... I have more than I wish .. and I am willing to trade for similar size rock ... I cant just sell it .. my tank is low on LR right now .. so .. and I have 2 different kinds ... Dwyer, the best way is to put the rock in the sand bed not letting if touch anything else .. this dose not work all the time though .. what kind of rock do you want ? i like gsp and would love a big chunk to put in my tank what i want to know is how you get rid of those dam pest aneome's

Are you talking about Aiptasia? ... I bought and used a product called Aiptasia X for my wifes tank its a LRWA tank .. (Live rock with Aiptasia lol) and it works awesome! .. its good stuff and will not mess up with water chemistry ... you can sit there all day killing Aiptasia and no PH spike or anything else ... the stuff will stick to the disk so they are unable to release planulas ... Good stuff .. Marine Aquatics turned me on to the stuff .. oooohh that sounds good will it hurt my other corals leathers , torch , frogspawn lots of mushrooms , big gsp rock sm bsp a copple of toadstools grove polup candy cane and a big zoo rock????? i dont want to hurt them ..., ive been tossing around the idea of taking the rocks that have alot of them down to the car wash and presure washing them off?????

I killed about 10 of them in the middle of a patch of eagle eye zoas .. they did close up for about a hour .. but they are open again and doing great ... yet no Aiptasia .. :D

| Probably not the place to post this....But what type of lighting are you guys using (those that have all the GSP growth) ? I've heard that GSP will grow rapidly under certain light? I have some GSP in certain areas I'd like them to cover is why I'm asking. I love the look as well. |
