| What is the difference between the Yellowhead Sleeper Goby and the Yellowhead Jawfish. Do the sleeper gobies have the same behaviors as the jawfish (sand sifting). I am very ignorant on these two types of fish and their behaviors, please clarify for me. Can these two types share the same tank? Do all Jawfish and Sleepers dig little homes? |

Their behavior is different. The sleeper runs around the tank sifting sand all day and the jawfish hides with his head sticking out all day. The sleeper will have a den to sleep in but stays out all day. I don't know if they get along or not.

I'm not sure if they would get along, but I'd guess they would as they have different behaviors.

Jawfish don't sift sand either. They eat from the water column.

| I think I kind of like the secrecy of the jawfish. It seems like the sleeper can make a mess of things. At first glance they look similar, I would not be suprised if a PETCO could get these two mixed up. |
