I have a few things to clarify to help in assembling a reactor. I will be posting them here, including pics, part lists, and assembly sequence for the plumbing. I will also try to post helpful hints.
I will update this thread over the next week or two with pics.
Parts list:
(8)- 1/4x20x1" long nylon binding posts.
1/2" vinyl tube.
~3 ft of 1/2" PVC pipe, cut to the following lengths:
(2) 1-1/2"
3-3/4"
2-3/8"
16"
1" to 1/2" PVC step bushing, S x S (slip x slip).
1"x1"x1/2" PVC elbow, S x S x T.
1/2" funny elbow, male (barbed x threaded). I got mine at Derk's Plumbing, and they work the best.
1/2" funny elbow, female. See above.
(2)- 1/2" PVC union, S x S.
(3)- 1/2" PVC street ell, S x S.
1/2" x 1/2" PVC male thread/female slip adapter.
1" PVC cap.
1/2" PVC coupling, S x S.
(2)- 3" zip ties.
1-1/4" diameter acrylic tube, 6" long, grooved or 1" diameter clear PVC
(3) 1/4" quick connect, male threaded.
1/4" quick connect ball valve.
1/4" flexible airline tubing or CO2 resistant tubing.
3-3/4" round cut-to-fit egg crate light screen.
3-3/4" round cut-to-fit plastic cross-stitch screen- approx. 1mm mesh
18" of 4" diameter acrylic tube, extruded or cell cast.
6"x3/8"x6" acrylic sheet, preferably clear.
Acrylic top and bottom flanges, from the WMAS online store (coming very soon). Laser cut, high quality.
I will make a pdf of the handout which includes small pics of the parts.
First of many pics. Here is the basic plumbing assembly. On the left, we have the input plumbing assembly.
On the right, we have the output plumbing assembly. More on this to come.

Thanks Corey..
I know there are some of us that really wanted to be there last night. Maybe we need to get you to come up to Boise to talk to our club.

A couple pictures of my prototype. The WMAS flanges are the same configuration, although they are clear 3/8" acrylic.
A side view:
A view from the bottom of the top flange. Proper orientation of the top flange is important.

Assembly instructions to follow. I'm working on TOTM, so this is a lower priority at the moment.

I think the flanges should have WMAS logo on them :) and let us know when they are available.
Thanks

I have five home-made PVC sheet flange sets available- PM me if you'd like them. They aren't the laser-cut version I used to make the calcium reactor in the meeting, but a bit more crude. They were left over from when I thought I could make them and sell them for a profit. The sets will take some slight enlargement of the holes with a dremel.
