I'm back home and my tank has done quite well for being gone most of this year. Other than being home a couple of weekends I have been living out of a suitcase and seeing the west.  I did a few tests yesterday befor a w/c and all this expensive equipment seems to be working.  I give most of the credit to Vickie, Eric and my future son in law Danny for takeing care of it while I was away.

Thanks everyone,  I was kind of worried to see what it would look like when I got home. But everything did ok.

It's a female crosshatch trigger, one of the first fish I added when I put together this tank.

Which one?! Shawn has seen way too much of me lately! Between the acans, the sps, the elegance, and the...........!!!!!

I am doing good - I hate not being able to be as active as I would like to be though. Climbing on my ladder is a little scary right now..............

Did  you post a picture of that nasuta sps in the favorite sps thread on RC?  It looks really familiar.  I just got a frag of a nasuta that is coloring up really different.  I am excited to see what it settles in at.  The body is turning a neon green with purple tips.  That is sure a nice piece you have.

I did actually.  I posted a few times in that thread. There is a lot of sweet peices in that thread.  I have 2 nasutas that are doing great right now. A blue polyped one that I got as a frag and a purple polyped one that was a bit larger.  They are awsome corals, you will love yours.  My name on RC is (Bradleyj).
I actually got an email from a guy in Calgary Canada that wants to come and visit when he gets down here, he has one of the most gorgeouse sps tanks I've ever seen, his name on RC is Oldude.

Yep, I thought that piece looked familiar.  Do you remember the Shawn Bennett Tenuis on there?  I love that piece.  I think I have located a couple of frags of that piece.  Hopefully I will have them soon.

They are red people eaters if I am not mistaken and I am also not dumb enough to think that the pics make them look better - if anything pics don't do justice!!..................You have an amazing tank and there are many things that make me jealous! If you are in the market for a blue tort let me know - the tank has changed a little (a lot) since you were here!

Brad:

Those are 250Ws in your Maristar, correct?

I just got a 225g tank myself and was concerned I might need 400Ws due to the depth; but looking at your corals I can see that 250s should be just fine Thumbs%20Up

Truly a gorgeous and inspiring tank !!!

True - mine is 30" deep... but I will also have my lights closer to the water surface than your fixture (maybe only 4" - 5" off the surface) and I'll just limit the high-lighting organisms like Clams and SPS to the top 20" of the tank Smile
