Lobsters have plenty of attitude. Naturally!

They are cold water animals so be prepared for when it croaks.

I once "squared off" against a lobster while diving.  From what the other divers told me it was the funniest thing they had ever seen.  I was trying to grab him, and he was trying to kill me (or atleast get away).  I think in the end the witnesses would agree he kicked my butt that day.  I never thought I would have the nerve to share that story.

Eric, has your lobster got a name yet?  It's harder to eat a pet if you name it!

Take it out to Seabase, Linda will gladly let it loose out there. Then you can always go diving and try to find your lobster (if the sharks don't find it first!) In fact they used to have lobster parties out there, they would buy a bunch of lobsters, let them go and then have a night dive to catch them and cook them up!
But seriously, if you want a decent place where it has a chance to live, take it to Seabase. That goes for any fish for that matter. If they outgrow your tank or decide to eat tankmates, Seabase is the perfect retirement community. Especially of your fish has HLLE, they recover very well at Seabase.
