I have always just used a strait razor and cleaned the glass untill it has no friction anymore on the glass. Then use GE 100% sylicone from the hardware store. works great. ------------- I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it. I have resealed my 225 twice. once you put the bead of sylicone on there. spit on your finger (alot) and rub the sylicone into the crack a little to make sure it fits well. if you spit enough the sylicone doesn't stick to you. enjoy the fumes... ------------- I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it. | I built that tank. The people that bought my house didnt. where was it leaking from. It was brand new when i bought it from fish for you about 3 yrs ago i missed that setup. It was easier than my 50 i have now. What caused the leak. |

I would relly like to see the setup when u get done with it. The anti siphine is the only thing you need to worry about. I kinda liked what i had on it. But i think there is better ways to do it. I would use them for a closed loop if possible. Kamaron 694-4292 call me. |

| I was thinking of using two for the drain and one for a CL but I am afraid it might drain the OF befor it filled the tank enough to drain back in.I plan on making dorso pipes for the drains if there is enough room for them |

| Dursos i had in the overflow but it was not that good. I'm not a big fan of them. I tryed alot of things but i ended with slit pipes and bio balls. They was great and quite. i wanted to use 2 of the jets for closed loop. And 2 for a return. thats all you need for flow i was getting 1" or more everyother month out of some of the sps. |

The Modified Durso is a simple straight standpipe and it's just as quiet. No bioballs or valve needed. On my new 120 with Mr. Ray and Mr. Bat, I removed the corner overflows for more space, then used one drilled hole for a drain to the Refugium and three drilled holes for the Closed Loop.
