I am just wondering if anyone know where I can purchase uv glass. I retrofit a 250w HQI and didn't know I should have a lense over it.

As far as I know you can go to any glass shop and tell them that you need UV filtering glass. I think most plate glass is UV filtering, but the glass shop should know what you need, and they will be able to cut you a piece exactly the size you need for cheap.

Make sure that you get tempered. I tried to run a normal uv piece under my HQI and it shattered in my tank because they can't take the heat.
