I was talking to some members this weekend about adding their first fish.  Got me thinking how many people's first fish was a clown?

What was your first fish?

Mine was a tangerine clown (before they were trendy or priced accordingly) from The Aquarium.  Had him for 5 years.

I think I've stared all my systems with clowns simply because I love the way they look.

Same as Adam.
Pretty sure mine were Blue Devil Damsels/Chrysiptera cyanea because I loved the brilliant blue. That's just what everyone did back then. These days, first fish in my new tanks have been Bicolor Blennies, Wrasse, Yellow Tail Damsels, Bangaii Cardinals, even a Yellow Tang and of course, many Clownfish. Big smile

Great topic Thumbs Up

My first fish was a percula clownfish that was all by itself in a 90 gallon aquarium. Very little live rock, deep sand bed and fake "seaweed" plants.
