I'm writing this here so I don't forget to discuss it next presidency meeting ... and to solicit some responses on the idea.
 
 
What if we replaced the menu button "New Articles" with one titled "Tools"?

We don't use the news articles location currently and anything newsworthy generally gets posted on the MB.
 
Within the 'Tools' section, we could include things like Jonathan's interactive fish compatibility chart, tank size (volume) calculator, LR calculator, identification links (aquatic database), DIY articles, Utah rock maps, etc.

I say "Go for it". I think the" tools" area would be very beneficial.

I also like the idea.  However I think the title "tools" might be misleading.  I don't know what the perfect name for a title for stuff like that may be.  Something like "Tank Help Items".

Also the "News Articles" could be a link inside that new link as well

I like the idea and also agree there could be a better name for it. FAQ(s) may be the answer.
