I thought I would share some photos of the tank with some corals in it.  Thanks Mark, it has made a big difference and everything is doing fine so far.

Mark told me that it is a pink tip anemone.  I only have 35w pc compact and under better lighting the tips are pink.  If I am wrong here someone feel free to correct me.

Can the pink tip aneome's sting your corals or are they harmless?

they can spread but from what I have heard they only travel in the
shadowy parts so if the whole coral is in light they won't get to it. but tht
is just what I heard. but they can sting corals

Yes they do sting.  In the picture below it you will notice a mushroom.  It has migrated down the rock since the anemome was place there.  The anemone moved up the rock a little also.

Just remember that all coral and anemones sting. Some worse than others. The sting of the Tulip Anemone, as this is commonly called, is much less potent than most.

I believe if the Aiptasia Anemone was pretty, we would all be trying to keep them rather than eliminate them.

Thanks for posting pics and you are very welcome.

It is a form of majano and can spread very quickly. It can/will sting corals that it touches.
