Ok, I purchased a replavement heater and was about to mount the
controller on the wall, grabbed my hammer and Ohhhhh, Noooo bumped the
corner of the tank. It cracked and there is a hairline crack heading
the other way (About 1 inch long).
Ok, currently there is no leaking, but with a 10 gallon is there enough
water pressure to further crack it causing it to leak, or will I be OK.
If I should replace I am think I might as well go with a larger tank like a 20 gallon.
Since my 10 gallon is cycled and I am just waiting for the diatom to go
away. If I switched over to a 20 gallon, it would not cause the cycle
to start over if I use the same rock, water and sand (Of course I will
add more water and more sand)
(I added the picture to my journal thread, and removed from here)
Man this just bumbs me out.
