I refilled my CO2 tank for my calcium reactor at a Painball store nearby today. I came home, set everything back up adjusted the bubble counter and drip rate and off I went to enjoy an enjoyable evening with the Wife and Friends only to arrive home 3 hours later with soaked carpets and an empty CO2 tank Some how it knocked a tube off my reactor and pumped water on my floor(just a guess) for a couple of hours as there was about 7 G missing from my tank. I don't know how but then power circuit was shut of on the digital timer that was hooked up to pump which I am grateful for. Blah blah blah, has anyone had this happen before? It is a 7.5 lb cylinder and they filled it to capacity. Should I blame the shop and have them refill it and replace the pressure seal?
I don't know much about CO2 and aquariums, but I know a little about compressed gases. Is this on a regulator? I realize that compressed CO2 is in liquid form, but if it was on a regulator I'd look at that first.
