So at the beginning of the week when I came to my nano tank. . . I saw something that freaked me out.  It was the fire shrimp's body next to the clam. . .  

I was very bummed out. . . .   maybe the stress of the move killed him. . .maybe he wasn't getting enough foods. . .

But this morning. . . I saw him!!!  He just molted!!!

I think we all go through this! The first time mine moulted I just knew he was in there somewhere but it took a while to find the real shrimp. I sure was concerned for a few minutes though.

I go through this everytime, until I find it alive again. glad I don't have to go through this with my kids

  Well if he didn't molt everything right down to his antenna - I would be find.  . . .  oh well - lesson learned.

My scarlet crab does that to me everytime and I look and look and finally a few days later I see it again.  I have gotten used to the shrimp molts because when they die, there is nothing left so a hollow shell is good!
