Last night in Sandy we had a power brown out type thing and it fried my (3) 250 watt Coralvue ballasts. Is there anything I can do temporarily light my tank to save the life of some of my corals until i can get my ballasts fixed or replaced.
Thanks.

Try unplugging them, let them sit for a few hours, and then try turning them back on. MHs need to sit for a while before they are able to turn on again.

Sorry if you have already tried this....

Remember in the movie Legend how Tom Cruise set up mirrors to shoot sunlight at the devil guy?

Maybe you could do that.

I hope Adam's suggestion works.

One was fried. The other two had a hidden (hidden to me anyway) fuse that had blown. Guess the fuses did there job on two anyway.
