Hi everyone its been a while since I have been on here I haven't had many problems, but my acans and candy cane corals haven't been looking so good, there feeder tentacles haven't been coming out at night.
SG 1.026
Calcium 500 PPM
DKH 7
PH 8.1
phosphates and nitrates are 0
I have recently added a starfish (not too sure what kind im thinking its a spiny star or fromia) a yellow choris wrasse and a cleaner shrimp, none of which I have seen anywhere near the acan coral.
Hard to see from the pic, but is the skeleton showing?
Is there a lot of flow on them? Once I upgraded powerheads LPS and scans especially started to have a really hard time. Once I moved them out of the flow into a real calm area they have been doing great.
Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums.
Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following. 50 Gallon rimless cube. 180 Gallons mixed reef paradise
Keep a close eye on the coris wrasse I had one a saw him several times picking at my lps. He commited suicide and jumped from my tank, now my acans are happy again lol!
Thanks everyone I got my DKH up to 10, he is happy again :) I need to get a test for magnesium. The coris wrasse sadly died.. Im not sure why either My prams were all good..
haha they looked better before he died.. I just lost my tailspot blenny today too :'( I was deeply upset.. he kinda just disappeared .. once again all prams are perfect.. Im guessing the banded serpent star. He's now banished into the sump
